About us
Our story
AMIGA was founded in October 2010 at the initiative of foreign scientists from the Czech Academy of Sciences and Charles University in Prague. Our goal was clear: more effective integration of migrants in the Czech Republic and support for like-minded organizations.
AMIGA has gradually evolved into a volunteer center where migrants are given the opportunity to engage in a wide range of activities. Today, the organization has 10 members and 50 volunteers from all around the world.
Our values
We support newcomers to the Czech Republic through community integration, psychosocial support, and assistance on the path to health and a fulfilling life.
Our mission is based on a belief in human rights, inclusion, and the fight against discrimination and racism.
