Our activities
Individual support Dumka
Dumka is a project created in response to a clear demand for psychosocial support for refugees and those assisting them following the outbreak of war in Ukraine in February 2022. Its goal is to help alleviate the impact of the traumatic departure from their homeland and the constant uncertainty experienced by refugees.
Support groups
We offer free courses and support programs for people affected by the war in Ukraine and for professionals in helping professions. Seminars, training sessions, and support groups are led by experts and psychologists from Ukraine and the Czech Republic, focusing on self-development and the exchange of new ideas. Our programs provide an opportunity to meet inspiring people and gain valuable experiences.
Projects
Development of a system of providing psychosocial support to refugees from Ukraine.
Supporting (not only) the mental health of children and adults from Ukraine.
Mental health resilience trainings and psychological support for vulnerable refugees.
EPIM - "Complex psychosocial support for Ukrainian refugees in Czechia".
Community Center
The AMIGA Community Center at Belgická 11 in Prague is a place where we provide a wide range of supportive activities for migrants and their families. Our goal is to assist with adapting to a new environment, strengthening community ties, and offering practical support in daily life. We organize educational courses, cultural events, professional counseling, and leisure activities that contribute to personal development and integration.
Volunteering
We organize walks around Prague, creative workshops, culinary classes, and other activities that bring joy, new skills, and cultural enrichment. Volunteers are a key part of our project – their efforts help participants feel valued and part of the community. Together, we create a space where different generations and cultures come together, share, and grow.
